One day workshop with Nadja Tobias, a certified yoga teacher
Saturday, September 21st from 10.00 till 18.30
at Zen Yoga by Dynamic Mindfulness, Templehofer Ufer 36, 10963 Berlin
This one day workshop with Nadja Tobias provides an understanding of how hormones change throughout your menstrual cycle and when certain symptoms are likely to show up. We’ll explore mindful and sensitive yoga practice, experience how different asanas, meditation and restorative yoga can have a huge effect on your quality of life.
Menstrual Cyclic Nature workshop will provide you with the tools to:
- recognize patterns related to your menstrual cycle and know how to work with them
- have a clearer perception of what is happening during the cycle
- use this knowledge throughout your cycle to sync deeper in your individual rhythm
- become more efficient and balanced
- keep the focus on what is truly important.
The menstrual cycle is one of the most basic, earthly cycles in which your body is going through different phases and your mind is following and responding to these changes. However, it’s hard to feel positive about your cycle if you don’t understand it and value it. Starting to understand and value the rhythm of your cycle allows you to work with the different moods, feelings, and levels of energy accordingly. To flow with those energies allows for something beautiful to open up.
For example, irritability during the luteal phase (experienced as a strong PMS) often happens because you wish to pull back and do less and take care of yourself. No acknowledging this can create instability. Your menstrual cycle is a stress-sensitive system. Knowing what is important – whatever that is – and nourishing self-trust will result in lower stress levels. The production of certain hormones during menstruation makes it a time of highest intuition. Despite the pain and all those mood swings you might have, it can be one of the most powerful moments in your life.
Workshop is in English language.
