This innovative advanced teacher training program is for curious, forward-thinking and passionate teachers who thrive in an environment that encourages critical inquiry and personal agency.
Prerequisite for applying is a completion of any Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour training. If you have completed your training outside of our school, you are also required to take a self-paced Bridge Program – learn more.
Upon graduation you will be able to apply for RYT 500.
Teaching methods include lectures, experiential classes and one-on-one mentoring in an environment committed to development, sharing, and hands-on application of skills. The curriculum consists of the following modules:
ONLINE TRAINING MODULE
With Tatjana Mesar, lead teacher, and guest teachers Valerie Harwich and Vera Piechulla
This 4 months long online module consist of pre-recorded sessions you can watch in your own time and live calls on zoom for questions, practice and feedback. Topics include: Embodied anatomy sessions, trauma-sensitive language, shadow work for yoga teachers, business aspects of teaching yoga and more. Exact dates coming soon!
IN-PERSON IMMERSION MODULE
With Tatjana Mesar, lead teacher
This 8-day intensive training module offers profound theoretical and practical study in a group format. Topics include: daily movement labs with mindful assisting, restorative yoga flow, studies of biomechanics to build a vocabulary for the poetry of movement, setting boundaries, defining the scope of practice, and more.

PERSONAL PRACTICE AND STUDY
This module consists of your study and preparation outside of the training hours. It includes reading and personal practice. See our advanced teacher training reading list.
While a minimum of 50 hours is required in this module, most committed students exceed this significantly.

Originally, yoga was passed down to new teachers through the process of mentoring. In Dynamic Mindfulness we follow this learning tradition to guide you throughout our program.
Six-month individualized program that includes one-on-one sessions, written and video assignments.
You will complete this module with a personal research project on an advanced topic of your choice.
Minimum of 60 hours in a 6 months period. See detailed description and timeline.
“Silent Illumination” MEDITATION RETREAT
with Chan Master Zarko Andricevic
This 7-day meditation retreat offers you the opportunity to reach deeper into your mind, body and soul. Daily, there are alternated sitting and walking meditation, gentle yoga practice, mindful work, mindful meals and dharma talks. Personal interviews are offered to ask questions and/ or share experiences. The retreat is held in silence.
A minimum of 6 months or regular meditation practice is required before attending this retreat.
