Katya Abramkina, lead teacher and owner of Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga School

Hi there, I’m Katya Abramkina (she/her).

I’m a certified Dynamic Mindfulness yoga teacher and trained full-spectrum doula based in Berlin.

I first came to Dynamic Mindfulness Yoga School as a student, completing the foundational 200-hour teacher training that I now lead. I later continued with the advanced Dynamic Mindfulness training, completing more than 550 hours in total.

My relationship with yoga began much earlier. My father introduced me to it when I was a child. In 2013, I began practicing Iyengar Yoga, exploring asana alignment and the use of props. Its structure and precision gave me a strong foundation, and I’m still very grateful for that.

Over time, curiosity and the wish for more freedom in my practice led me to Dynamic Mindfulness. Through Tatjana Mesar’s teaching, I began exploring movement and meditation through Chan Buddhist principles and a contemporary understanding of anatomy and biomechanics.

At the end of 2025, Tatjana entrusted me with carrying the Foundational Teacher Training forward. I returned to the school where I had once been a student, grateful for the opportunity to continue this work and pass these teachings on.
