All of us have received some good and some not so good hands on assisting on the yoga mat. Both experiences were probably very memorable although on the opposite sides of the comfort spectrum.
What distinguishes quality hands-on adjustments from no so helpful or even unpleasant hands-on adjustments? In this workshop, you will learn the principles behind hands-on assistance for yoga teachers that will take your teaching to a whole new level.
We’ll go deeper into the art of observation and mirroring, practice foundational hands on techniques in the Mountain Pose and learn how to apply them in a variety of other poses. You will practice giving relaxing head massage in Savasana.
You will get clear guidelines on how to create a culture of consent in your classes.
Topics include partner work. A proof of full vaccination is required.
