Ekaggata | One-Pointed Mind

Ekaggata

Workshop with Tatjana Mesar in Berlin

We are excited to invite Dynamic Mindfulness teachers and advanced students to a special 2,5 hour workshop led by Tatjana Mesar, lead teacher.

Date & Time: Saturday, August 3rd from 15:00 till 18:00.

Location: vea yoga STUDIO

In this workshop, we will explore the concept of Ekaggata, the Pali Buddhist term for tranquility of mind or one-pointedness, also known as the unification of mind. This deeper concentration is experienced as tranquility and clarity, arising from and founded in happiness.

The five obstacles (or hindrances) to unification of mind are aversion, restlessness, doubt, sensual cravings, and sleepiness.

We will start with physical yoga practice that leads into the practice of prostration and sitting meditation. After a short break Tatjana will give a dharma talk relating to the 5 hindrances, and we`ll close with Q&A and sharing.

Price: 20 Euros
